Hostel Rules and Regulations
1. Admission and Accommodation
• Admission to the hostel is granted only after the submission of a completed application form, necessary documents, and full payment of the hostel fees.
• Room allocation is done by the hostel administration. Students cannot change their allocated rooms without prior written permission from the Hostel Superintendent/Warden.
• The college will provide basic furniture (e.g., cot, locker, table, and chair). Students must bring their own personal daily necessities (e.g., mattress, bucket, mug).
• Students must verify the condition of the room and furniture upon taking possession. The cost of any subsequent damage to the building, furniture, or equipment will be recovered from the responsible student(s).
• At the end of the academic year, students must vacate their rooms and remove all personal belongings.
2. General Discipline and Code of Conduct
• The hostel environment must remain quiet and conducive to academic study. Noisy or disruptive behavior is strictly prohibited.
• Students must turn off lights and fans when leaving their rooms.
• Students are responsible for the safety of their own valuables. The institution will not be held responsible for any theft, loss, or damage to personal property.
• The consumption, possession, or distribution of tobacco, gutkha, smoking materials, alcohol, and any illicit drugs is strictly prohibited on the hostel and college premises.
• Mobile phone usage should be restricted so as not to disturb others. The use of electronic devices like laptops or tablets for non-educational purposes during study hours is discouraged.
• Holding unauthorized meetings, gatherings, or events within the hostel premises is strictly forbidden.
3. Anti-Ragging and Disciplinary Actions
• Ragging in any form is strictly prohibited. Any student found guilty of ragging will face severe disciplinary action, including immediate expulsion from the hostel and college, and legal action as per anti-ragging laws.
• Misbehavior, insubordination, or violation of hostel rules will result in disciplinary action. The decision of the institution will be final and binding on both the student and their parents/guardians.
4. Timings, Leaves, and Permissions
• The main gates of the hostel will close at 7:00 PM and open at 6:00 AM. Students are not allowed to enter or exit the hostel during these hours without prior authorization.
• Students must obtain prior written permission (an Outpass) from the Hostel Superintendent before leaving the campus for any personal or official work.
• Students are permitted to visit their homes a maximum of once per month, subject to prior approval.
• The institution is not responsible for any incidents or accidents that occur when a student leaves the hostel premises on their own responsibility.
5. Cleanliness and Hygiene
• Students must keep their rooms, corridors, and surrounding areas clean and tidy.
• All waste must be disposed of in the designated dustbins. Dry and wet waste should be segregated according to hostel guidelines.
6. Visitors and Parents
• Parents and local guardians may visit their wards only during designated visiting hours (e.g., 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM).
• Visitors and relatives are strictly not allowed to enter or stay in the students' rooms.
• Students are not permitted to meet any individuals other than their registered parents or local guardians without explicit permission.
7. Health and Medical Emergencies
• Students must inform the Hostel Superintendent of any pre-existing medical conditions during admission.
• In case of illness or a medical emergency, students must immediately notify the Hostel Superintendent so that appropriate medical assistance can be arranged.
8. Mess Facility
• The hostel and mess facilities are integrated. Mess fees are mandatory and non-refundable.
• No refunds will be provided to students who are expelled from the hostel for disciplinary reasons.
• Students must strictly adhere to the designated mess timings.
• Wasting food is strictly prohibited. Students must take only what they can consume.
• Students are responsible for washing their own plates and glasses after meals.
• Bringing outside food into the mess hall or taking mess food into hostel rooms is not permitted.
9. General Instructions
• Luggage and bags may be inspected by security or hostel staff upon entry to the hostel. Any objectionable items will be confiscated.
• Students must dress decently and maintain proper decorum while moving around the campus and hostel premises.
• The instructions given by the Hostel Superintendent and security personnel must be followed at all times.

१. प्रवेश आणि निवास व्यवस्था
• वसतिगृहात प्रवेश केवळ विहित अर्ज, आवश्यक कागदपत्रे आणि वसतिगृहाचे संपूर्ण शुल्क भरल्यानंतरच दिला जाईल.
• वसतिगृह प्रशासनाकडून खोल्यांचे वाटप केले जाईल. वसतिगृह अधीक्षक/रेक्टर यांच्या पूर्वपरवानगीशिवाय विद्यार्थ्यांना त्यांची नेमून दिलेली खोली बदलता येणार नाही.
• महाविद्यालय मूलभूत फर्निचर (उदा. कॉट, लॉकर, टेबल आणि खुर्ची) पुरवेल. विद्यार्थ्यांनी त्यांच्या स्वतःच्या रोजच्या गरजेच्या वस्तू (उदा. गादी, बादली, मग) सोबत आणणे आवश्यक आहे.
• खोलीचा ताबा घेताना विद्यार्थ्यांनी खोली आणि फर्निचरची स्थिती तपासून घ्यावी. त्यानंतर इमारत, फर्निचर किंवा उपकरणांचे कोणतेही नुकसान झाल्यास, त्याची किंमत जबाबदार विद्यार्थ्यांकडून वसूल केली जाईल.
• शैक्षणिक वर्ष संपल्यानंतर, विद्यार्थ्यांनी त्यांच्या खोल्या रिकाम्या करणे आणि त्यांचे सर्व वैयक्तिक सामान काढून घेणे आवश्यक आहे.
२. सामान्य शिस्त आणि आचारसंहिता
• वसतिगृहातील वातावरण शांत आणि अभ्यासासाठी अनुकूल राहिले पाहिजे. गोंगाट किंवा व्यत्यय आणणाऱ्या वर्तनास सक्त मनाई आहे.
• विद्यार्थ्यांनी खोलीतून बाहेर पडताना लाईट आणि पंखे बंद करावेत.
• विद्यार्थी स्वतःच्या मौल्यवान वस्तूंच्या सुरक्षिततेसाठी जबाबदार आहेत. कोणत्याही वैयक्तिक मालमत्तेच्या चोरी, नुकसान किंवा हानीसाठी संस्था जबाबदार राहणार नाही.
• वसतिगृह आणि महाविद्यालय परिसरात तंबाखू, गुटखा, धूम्रपानाचे साहित्य, मद्य आणि कोणत्याही बेकायदेशीर अमली पदार्थांचे सेवन, बाळगणे किंवा वाटप करण्यास सक्त मनाई आहे.
• इतरांना त्रास होणार नाही अशा प्रकारे मोबाईल फोनचा वापर मर्यादित असावा. अभ्यासाच्या वेळेत शैक्षणिक कारणाव्यतिरिक्त लॅपटॉप किंवा टॅबलेट सारख्या इलेक्ट्रॉनिक उपकरणांचा वापर करणे टाळावे.
• वसतिगृहाच्या आवारात अनधिकृत बैठका, मेळावे किंवा कार्यक्रम आयोजित करण्यास सक्त मनाई आहे.
३. अँटी-रॅगिंग आणि शिस्तभंगाची कारवाई
• रॅगिंगला कोणत्याही स्वरूपात सक्त मनाई आहे. रॅगिंग करताना आढळल्यास संबंधित विद्यार्थ्यांवर कठोर शिस्तभंगाची कारवाई केली जाईल, ज्यामध्ये वसतिगृह आणि महाविद्यालयातून तात्काळ निष्कासन आणि अँटी-रॅगिंग कायद्यानुसार कायदेशीर कारवाईचा समावेश
असेल.
• गैरवर्तन, आज्ञाभंग किंवा वसतिगृहाच्या नियमांचे उल्लंघन केल्यास शिस्तभंगाची कारवाई केली जाईल. संस्थेचा निर्णय अंतिम असेल आणि तो विद्यार्थी व त्यांच्या पालकांवर/स्थानिक पालकांवर बंधनकारक राहील.
४. वेळापत्रक, रजा आणि परवानग्या
• वसतिगृहाचे मुख्य प्रवेशद्वार संध्याकाळी ७:०० वाजता बंद होईल आणि सकाळी ६:०० वाजता उघडेल. या वेळेत पूर्वपरवानगीशिवाय विद्यार्थ्यांना वसतिगृहात प्रवेश करण्यास किंवा बाहेर जाण्यास मनाई आहे.
• कोणत्याही वैयक्तिक किंवा अधिकृत कामासाठी परिसर सोडण्यापूर्वी विद्यार्थ्यांनी वसतिगृह अधीक्षकांची पूर्व लेखी परवानगी (आउटपास) घेणे आवश्यक आहे.
• विद्यार्थ्यांना पूर्वपरवानगीच्या अधीन राहून, महिन्यातून जास्तीत जास्त एकदा त्यांच्या घरी जाण्याची परवानगी आहे.
• जेव्हा एखादा विद्यार्थी स्वतःच्या जबाबदारीवर वसतिगृह सोडतो, तेव्हा घडणाऱ्या कोणत्याही घटनेला किंवा अपघाताला संस्था जबाबदार राहणार नाही.
५. स्वच्छता आणि आरोग्य
• विद्यार्थ्यांनी त्यांच्या खोल्या, कॉरिडॉर आणि आजूबाजूचा परिसर स्वच्छ आणि टापटीप ठेवावा.
• सर्व कचरा ठराविक कचराकुंडीतच टाकावा. वसतिगृहाच्या मार्गदर्शक तत्त्वांनुसार ओला आणि सुका कचरा वेगळा ठेवावा.
६. अभ्यागत आणि पालक
• पालक आणि स्थानिक पालकांना फक्त ठरलेल्या भेटीच्या वेळेतच (उदा. सकाळी १०:०० ते संध्याकाळी ५:००) त्यांच्या पाल्यांना भेटता येईल.
• अभ्यागत आणि नातेवाईकांना विद्यार्थ्यांच्या खोलीत प्रवेश करण्यास किंवा राहण्यास सक्त मनाई आहे.
• विद्यार्थ्यांना त्यांच्या नोंदणीकृत पालक किंवा स्थानिक पालकांव्यतिरिक्त इतर कोणत्याही व्यक्तीला पूर्वपरवानगीशिवाय भेटण्याची परवानगी नाही.
७. आरोग्य आणि वैद्यकीय आणीबाणी
• प्रवेशाच्या वेळी विद्यार्थ्यांनी वसतिगृह अधीक्षकांना त्यांच्या आधीपासून असलेल्या कोणत्याही आजाराची किंवा वैद्यकीय स्थितीची माहिती देणे आवश्यक आहे.
• आजारपण किंवा वैद्यकीय आणीबाणीच्या परिस्थितीत, विद्यार्थ्यांनी त्वरित वसतिगृह अधीक्षकांना कळवावे जेणेकरून योग्य वैद्यकीय मदतीची व्यवस्था करता येईल.
८. मेस सुविधा
• वसतिगृह आणि मेस सुविधा एकत्रित आहेत. मेसचे शुल्क भरणे अनिवार्य आहे आणि ते परत (Refund) केले जाणार नाही.
• शिस्तभंगाच्या कारणास्तव वसतिगृहातून काढून टाकलेल्या विद्यार्थ्यांना कोणताही परतावा दिला जाणार नाही.
• विद्यार्थ्यांनी मेसच्या ठरलेल्या वेळापत्रकाचे काटेकोरपणे पालन करावे.
• अन्न वाया घालवण्यास सक्त मनाई आहे. विद्यार्थ्यांनी आवश्यक तेवढेच अन्न घ्यावे.
• जेवणानंतर स्वतःचे ताट आणि ग्लास धुण्याची जबाबदारी विद्यार्थ्यांची असेल.
• बाहेरचे अन्न मेसमध्ये आणण्यास किंवा मेसमधील अन्न वसतिगृहाच्या खोलीत घेऊन जाण्यास मनाई आहे.
९. सामान्य सूचना
• वसतिगृहात प्रवेश करताना सुरक्षा रक्षक किंवा वसतिगृह कर्मचाऱ्यांकडून सामानाची आणि बॅगची तपासणी केली जाऊ शकते. कोणत्याही आक्षेपार्ह वस्तू आढळल्यास जप्त केल्या जातील.
• परिसर आणि वसतिगृहात वावरताना विद्यार्थ्यांनी सभ्य कपडे परिधान करावेत आणि योग्य वर्तन ठेवावे.
• वसतिगृह अधीक्षक आणि सुरक्षा कर्मचाऱ्यांनी दिलेल्या सूचनांचे नेहमी पालन करणे बंधनकारक आहे.
