The Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry at Dnyandeep College of Pharmacy, Boraj, Khed is committed to imparting comprehensive education and practical mastery in medicinal chemistry, organic synthesis, drug analysis, and computational chemistry.
The curriculum is designed to provide students with a deep molecular understanding of how chemical structure dictates biological activity (Structure-Activity Relationships - SAR), the mechanisms of drug action, metabolic pathways, and rational drug design methodologies.
Our well-equipped laboratories provide practical training in synthesis of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs), assay development, chromatographic separations, UV-Visible spectrophotometry, and quality control validation compliant with pharmacopoeial standards. The department fosters scientific inquiry, guiding students in research projects, literature reviews, and national competitions.
